The International Behavioral Neuroscience Society

The IBNS was founded in 1992 with the goal of encouraging science and research throughout the neuroscience field! Specifically in behavioral neuroscience. This organization holds meetings throughout the year, supporting research-driven individuals through events such as poster sessions (held internationally).

Australasian Neuroscience Society

The Australian Neuroscience Society is a non-profit organization that works with researchers and clinicians who study the brain, nervous system, disease, etc. It was founded in 1971 as an informal group of Australian neuroscientists, which then created round-table meetings from 1972 to 1980. Now, annual conferences are held annually.

The Japan Neuroscience Society

The Japan Neuroscience Society was founded in 1974 with 70 members. It has now grown to more than 5,000 members as of 2008. Its goal is to integrate neuroscientists throughout Japan while reporting new information and findings throughout their meetings. It also hopes to create an open forum where various researchers who study neuroscience can interact!

Swiss Society for Neuroscience

The Swiss Society for Neuroscience is a nonprofit organization that values understanding the nervous system and diseases and diverse scientists and clinicians. It was founded in 1997 as a "new society" by Professor Volker Henn (Zurich) with roughly 250 members. In 1998 it joined the "Federation of European Neuroscience Societies" and continues to help young neuroscientists through travel grants to attend international conferences.

Brain Scientific Inc. was founded in 1973 with the goal of advancing scientific research on the central and peripheral nervous systems by bringing together experts in the field of neuroscience. It hosts events and collaboration opportunities for brain search in Finland.

The International Neuroethics Society was created to promote sustained interaction, learning, and critical discussion that would strengthen the field of neuroethics. The mission is to encourage and inspire research and dialogue on the responsible use of advances in brain science. The organization exchanges knowledge among scientists, ethicists, medical professionals, lawyers and judges, education, etc. It forges connections and collaborations across scientific disciplines, government agencies, etc. Finally, it also enables education, training, and mentoring opportunities.
