CRISPR-Cas systems enables gene editing & modifications in the brain. To what extent should gene editing be allowed?

Gene editing should be allowed in my opinion to the extent of saving lives, such as deadly genetic disorders that are passed down. Cosmetic gene editing can quickly get out of hand, and should be highly regulated.
